Away Meets - Request to Ride Home with Parents

  • Forms will be open for 1 week prior to the scheduled meet.
  • Be sure you are choosing the correct form. Double check the meet name/date before submitting.
  • If a form is not completed before the closing time, the athlete will be required to ride the bus home from the meet.
  • Before leaving the meet, the ATHLETE AND PARENT must check out with a coach.
  • All school/team policies regarding with whom and when an athlete is permitted to leave still apply.
    • Athletes are only permitted to ride home with their own parent/guardian. This is a School District policy, not a team policy. Please do not ask us to make exceptions.
    • Outdoor Track & Field Dual Meets: The athletes are required to stay until the conclusion of the meet.
    • Indoor Track & Field Meets and Outdoor Track & Field JV Meets & Invitationals: The athletes may be released following their competition.
    • Cross Country Meets: The athletes may be released following their scheduled activities. This includes completion of a proper cool down run after their competition and clean-up following "home" meets.
  • There may be meets where we will ask that ALL athletes ride the bus home. This will be communicated in advance.
